Traffic exchange sites not worth joining, have not and will not be listed here or recommended, if I find a traffic exchange link that has reduced in quality, they will be removed form the list. Traffic exchange sites to watch out for and avoid are sites that require you to log in or view X-number of sites per month or they delete or suspend your account.  Another thing to watch out for are traffic exchange sites that do not seem to care about what people advertise (as in no quality control), I've seen some exchange sites where after a few minutes you have about 20 extra windows that have been opened up because of other advertisers using pop-ups.  Needless to say, but pop-up blockers are king! Those 2 types of traffic exchange sites will not be listed here and if any of these have changed their policy or digressed, please let me know so that I can remove them from the list.

Lastly, I want to remind you about who your website visitors will be when you join these traffic exchange sites so that you can take full advantage of the traffic you receive.  If you know who your visitors are, you can target them accordingly.  The vast majority of people using traffic exchange sites are online marketers and webmasters who already have an opportunity and that is typically what you will be looking at as you view other member sites: Online Opportunities and website services.  So be careful not to show them more opportunities unless yours really reaches out and gets their attention.

Here is what I do:  Since I am not looking for more opportunities to join, I simply view the other sites to LEARN from them as to what to do and not to do as far as site appearance and you can do the same by looking at other member sites.  If you pay attention to the sites that are displayed, you can learn quite a bit about how to and how NOT to present a web page; watch for the sites that get YOUR attention.  I also find that I have more success in offering a short (and too the point) page such as this one or this one as opposed to a page that's a mile long with too many words and nothing that really gets their attention. Another huge advantage you could have would be to offer something that other members can use to promote their own opportunity. Traffic exchange sites in no way replace Trading Links, SEO techniques or SE submissions by any stretch of the imagination, but they do offer an interesting alternative to fast and immediate visitors to your website for virtually no money invested (unless you upgrade your traffic exchange accounts as described above).
